Passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on Monday, January 9th, 2017 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Monro. Loving Mom of Kelly Bernard (Reg) and Kim Allen (Ron). Cherished Grandma to Cameron Allen and Elise Bernard. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Jean Gifford. Dear sister of Lorna Twiddy (Ray), Sharon Mastin (Bob) and Patty Roblin (Wayne). Marilyn will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, January 13th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 14th at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
