Passed away on March 12, 2025. Survived by her three children Cheryl, Doug and Carol, as well as her seven grandchildren, Heather, Patricia, Tyler, Jason, Brenna, Jordan and Ryan and her six great grandchildren, Korrah, Lexi, Merisa, Spenser, Juniper Lane. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Elgin and her parents, Francis (Harry) and Amy (nee Belcher) Harrison.
June led an active life. She worked for many years in a variety of leadership roles with Girl Guides of Canada. Also, along with her husband Elgin, June was an avid golfer. For many years, she and Elgin were the driving force running golf leagues both at Dalewood near Cobourg and near their winter home in North Port, Florida.
As per her final request, she has been cremated and there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be arranged later in the spring. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
