Passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013. Beloved son of George and Mary. Loving father of Jennifer (Kevin), Jamie, Nicole and Stephanie. John (Grampa Candy) will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Taylor, Liam and Jace. Lovingly remembered by his brother Will, sisters Lillian, Cindy and Sandy. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, April 10th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 11th, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or donate blood to your local Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated.
