Igino Zeppieri

Peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, May 26, 2023, at age 91. Born on April 18, 1932 in the Italian village of Colleberardi, Igino was one of seven children to Anna (nee Gugliemi) and Gaetano Zeppieri. He immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his family, settling first in Toronto and then permanently in Whitby, Ontario. He is survived by Angela Maria (nee Mastracci), his beloved wife of 63 years. Proud and loving father of Violante Boccia (Bruno), Roberta Vachon (Richard), and Loretana Porco (Alfredo); and cherished Nonno Gino to Nina (Khalil), Erica (Frank), Alex (Sylvia); Makayla and Carson; Joseph and Victoria (Joey). He is survived by his siblings Franco (Dina) and Gabrielle (late Attilia), and pre-deceased by his siblings Erminia (late Mario), Alberto (late Luigina), Enio (late Rita), and Rodolfo (Lidia). He will be dearly missed by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as his many nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada, Italy, and France. Our heartfelt thanks to the many health care workers from St Elizabeth's, Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and other agencies for their care and compassion. We will miss him dearly and he will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, May 29, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Parish on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 10:30am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum.
