Harriet Annie Terrell

Passed away peacefully at Ajax Pickering Hospital on May 6th, 2016 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband of 72 years Dave (2010). Loving and adored mother of Joanne (Gordon). Nurturing Grandma of Belinda (Andy) and Kristin. Treasured and cherished great grandmother of Lina, Eve and Megan. Harriet will be missed by brothers Wilfred and Walter Huggett and predeceased by brother Edward. Harriet will be also missed by her extended family and her many friends. Harriet loved travelling the world, spending winters in Florida, making many new friends along the way and spending summers at the cottage at Crystal Lake, Haliburton. Harriet and David ran a successful grocery store to afford them all the fruits of their labours. She will be forever remembered as a voracious reader and as a kind, generous lover of people. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, May 10th, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, May11th at 11:00 a.m. Interment to take place at Highland Memory Gardens in North York.
