Graham Lloyd Peel

Peacefully on Tuesday, November 20th, 2012 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa with family by his side at the age of 76. Beloved husband and best friend of Heather for over 54 years. Loving father of Glynis, Glen (Carol) and Angela (Kyle). Special grandfather of Emaleigh, Evan and Linnea. Much loved son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle. Will be sadly missed by sisters Janet (and the late Stan), Margaret (Paul) and Sheila (Kevin), sisters and brothers-in-law Archie (Gladys), David (Martha), Clyde (Helen), William (Beverley) and by many nieces and nephews. Graham, an avid skier, sailor and woodworker will be fondly remembered by relatives and friends in both Canada and the United States. Graham was an outstanding example of kindness, generosity and goodwill. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, November 25th, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 26th, at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to Durham Regional Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be appreciated. A special thank you to the caring doctors and nurses at the Centre.
