Peacefully after a lengthy illness, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Pasqua (nee Castaldo) for 57 years. They started their life together in Italy and raised their family together in Canada. Dear father of Maria and her husband Frank McCarthy, Pat and his wife Denise, Frank, John and his wife Marianne and Domenic and his wife Lilly. Cherished Nonno of Christina, Jennifer, Carolyn, Justin, Jonathan, Jason, Joshua, Derek, Christopher, Brett, Nicole, Mark, Blake, Kelsi, Nina, Ashley and Jordan, and Bis Nonno to Rebecca and one on the way. Sadly missed by his sisters Rosa and Maria. Predeceased by his sister Domenica. Loved by his extended family and many friends. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Thursday, May 26th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY FAMILY PARISH (91 Ribblesdale Dr., Whitby) on Friday, May 27th at 10:30 a.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
