Peacefully at home, after a brief illness with family by his side, on Thursday, November 18th, 2010, in his 84th year. Dearly beloved husband of Barbara for 56 years. Loving father of John, Steven and Scott (Marilaura). Cherished grandfather of Peter, Hannah, Nicole, Brittany, Kevin, Ryan and Alex. George worked at General Motors for 37 years; enjoyed woodcarving and coffee with friends. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Sunday, November 21st from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 22nd, at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
