(Retired Employee of the City of Oshawa, 37 years of service)

After a hard fought courageous battle with cancer, he finally decided to go home to God His Almighty Saviour. Surrounded by his loving family, at the family residence, on Wednesday, July 27th, 2011, in his 84th year. He leaves the love of his life, his wife Gladys, whom he recently celebrated his 64th Wedding Anniversary with, on June 28th. Loving father of Dennis (predeceased), Gail Seary (Bob) and Gary (Joanne). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Robbie Ukrainetz (Ashley), Joseph Lintlop (Meaghanne), Jennifer Attersley (Christopher), Glen Seary, Kari Kellar (Paul), and his 8 great grandchildren Madison, Nathan, Dylan, Owen, Sydney, Kingston, Makinley and Preston. He will be sadly missed by his little buddy Kirby who never left his side during his illness. A special thank you to the Homecare Staff for their care and compassion during George’s illness. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Monday, August 1st from 12 Noon until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 P.M. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
