Donald Guy Gardiner

It is with heavy hearts the Gardiner family announces Dons sudden passing in his 80th year, at LAKERIDGE HEALTH AJAX PICKERING HOSPITAL on Friday August 21, 2020. Don was the beloved husband to Fay, father to his surviving son Kyle, along with the late James and David. Moreover, Don was grandfather to Shannon, Nicholas, Karen, Quintin, and great grandfather to Willow. Born in Toronto, ON, during his lifespan Don became co-owner (1976) of the car parts expeditor company, KCG Inc. While raising and supporting Kyle in soccer, Don filled the role as Manager of the Whitby SC (1989), later moving on to obtain the position of Discipline Chairmen (1997), then later President (1998-1999) of both the OYSL and CSL. In his sunset years, Don was an avid RVer experiencing many places within North America until finally settling in a snowbird community in Fort Myers, Florida. Many family and friends will miss him in both his Canadian and American communities. Due to COVID-19, the family has elected for cremation without a viewing, which has taken place.
