With heavy hearts, we announce that Christopher John Parker, born March 29,1985 in Oshawa, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2021 in his new family home in Scarborough at the age of 36. Anyone who spent time with Chris knows that he was a once in a lifetime character, the kind of person that brought people together and put others first. He was the funniest person you could meet, quietly brilliant and generous beyond reason. He was proud and humble, fiery and calm. Chris loved the outdoors; camping, fishing and being around a bonfire. He was passionate about comfort food cooking, social justice, playing guitar, listening to music, adventurous travel and his treasured Chelsea Football Club. He dressed for the cover of a GQ magazine and wished he was a pirate or a Viking warrior.
Chris leaves behind his beloved family: father John Parker, mother Elke Pfister, brothers Nicolas Parker (Jenna) and Alexander Parker (Georgina), Oma Elfriede Pfister, and his unborn son, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his dearest friend Danielle Morrison, and countless other loved ones.
The visitation for Chris will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W, Oshawa, ON., on Friday November 26, 2021 from 4pm-8pm.
Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services and visitations for those age 12 and older. Masks are required
We would love for you to come celebrate Chris with us. Please wear whatever you think would honour Chris’ memory – no black clothing required.
