Beatrice Mabel Lack

Peacefully at her residence on Thursday, May 30th at 96 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Harry Thomas Lack Sr. for over 70 years. Loving mother of Myrna, Wesley (Renate), Elsa (Garry King), Melody (Clyde Walters), Lisa (Douglas Cooper) and Harry (Pina). Proud and loving grandmother of William (Lindsey), Donald (Laura), Charles (Madison); David (Alona), Richard (Caitlin), Thomas, James, Josie and great grandmother to Wesley, Wyatt and Bowen; Isla and Henry; Claire and Jack. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Ruth Foster, Douglas Pilkey, Marion Nicol, Phyllis Martin and Brock Pilkey. Survived by her sisters-in-law Mary Pilkey, Rosemary Duffell, Anne Lack and brother-in-law Joseph Worona. Bea will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many friends. Bea was a faithful parishioner of St. Mary of the People Parish since its inception in 1957 and the last charter member of St. Mary Catholic Women’s League Council. Bea was very active within the church community throughout her life. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Tuesday, June 4th from 4-8pm. Prayers will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the People (570 Marion Avenue) on Wednesday, June 5th at 10:30am.
