I'm still at a loss for what to say and stunned. For now I'll send my deepest condolences and prayers for Angie's family. The human spirit is inextinguishable , and Angie had great spirit. She was called early to take that next step , and it's so very sad , but she's in a new and better place that we will get to eventually. Blessings on you Angie Atkins , may we all meet again some day , until then your memory lives in our hearts and minds. Thank you for being you.

Googled Angie Atkins, on a whim, as its been many years since we spoke. I'm deeply shocked and saddened to find this page. I'll have to come back after reflection and tears. I love you Angie.

Words can't express how deeply I love you Angie.  You were my best friend, my partner and my biggest supporter in life.  You are such a beautiful person inside and out and your willingness to put everyone else ahead of your own needs will always be remembered.  I knew from very early on in our relationship that I would be the second most important man in your life.  Keanan was your reason for existence and this was clear by your actions to provide him with everything he needed to succeed and be happy in life.  I will miss our uncontrollable laughter for no particular reason at all sometimes and our many adventures in food over the years.  The love of the outdoors and nature is something we cherished together I will always remember these happy times we had together.  I will miss you so much.

Angie, I was in awe of you.  You weren't just incredibly smart and successful; you had that special gift of bringing out the best in those around you through quiet, collected encouragement. Maria and family, I'm so sad to hear of Angie's passing.  It was a total shock when I was reading through the obituaries this morning.  I got to spend a good two years in her college with her and she always friendly and never judgemental.  I always considered her a good friend in college and had always wondered what she was up to after college was done.  I did have the chance to run into her a few times and we always managed to catch up a bit, but people lose track as our college extended family did.  I will always have fond memories of her back then, and send my prayers for her, you, all of her family.  I wish I could be there myself tomorrow, but my heart will be there.  Having lost a brother suddenly years ago, I can imagine what you are going through.  If you need someone to chat too Maria, I will be just an email click away. We may not understand why some things happen in life as it's beyond our comprehension & doesn't seem fair nor right how a loved one can be taken from us. All we can do is try to do what would make our loved one happy and proud of us and leave it in Gods hands and his infinite wisdom and know that when it's our time we will see that person or loved one again. I learned so much from working with you, and I am a better person for having known you. I miss you Angie.

I was terribly saddened to hear of Angie's passing. She was a beautiful person, and my sincere and heartfelt sympathies go out to the family. I will never forget the things you did for me. The emotional support you always offered in your stern and silent way. Even when you said nothing I felt like I just got it. When I had no family left in Ontario I could always count on you. I know how much you took on as your own and for that I thank you. You always saved the day Ange, when no one else would. You were always good to me and my brother and I'm still sad about how I left Ontario, but you still supported my decision and I'm doing really great. I couldn't have done it without you. I think Apple is an amazing soul and friend and I give you complete credit, same with Keanan. My whole family has felt a gap grow in our hearts knowing your gone. We know your soul lives on in all of us. I send my deepest condolences to your entire family.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear of such a tremendous loss.  Maria, Apple and family I am so sorry, and can only imagine how difficult this is for you.  My mind keeps going back to when we were young and Angie would tattle on Maria and I for doing things like dying the dogs ears with food colouring. Growing up she was like my second little sister.  Then as we beacame teenagers she was the cool younger sister that always fit in with our crowd.  Angie was always good for a laugh, I can still see her in my mind down in Gladys' basement where we used to hang out young and laughing.  As we all became adults, our lives took us all on different pathways and we grew apart, but Angie had one last gift for me, she introduced me to my now husband and because of that introduction I have been blessed with a wonderful family and for that Angie I will always be grateful. Our thoughts and love are with you.

Angie, there aren't enough words to express how sad I am. I miss you as a friend, a sister and most of all the extremely caring and giving person you were. I am so grateful for all the great times we spent together and for the wonderful memories you have given Andrew. He loves you so much and we will never forget all that you have done for him and us. Keanan and his family will always be a part of ours.

a great loss, many memories come to me from earlier days when Mrs Atkins took me in to live with her and the girls..so sad for the entire family as they all hold a dear place in my heart. from the times they took me to the Maltese dances, to Angie getting up out of bed and cracking her neck to wake up and watching me squirm while she chuckled. its been a while but this is one family that really impacted my life very much. I am praying continually for you all.

I remember spending time with Apple at her Aunt's house. Angie was always easy to talk to. She would add a humorous comment every now and again,  to the silly things that Apple and I would talk about. I'll always remember what you said to me, it stuck and made me grow. Thank you.

She was a wonderful person to work for and she will be missed by the whole KPMG team.
