Virginia Hurst

She was born January 18, 1925 in Marion, Virginia to Cecil and Cora Ballard. She had a twin brother, Ernest Ballard who grew up by her side. She later married Leslie Franklin Eastridge Jr. and had three children: Leslie (Ernie), Wanda and Vicki. Husband Leslie, passed away in March 1971. Later, Virginia met and married Ralph Hurst.

Virginia is survived by son Leslie (Ernie) Eastridge and wife, Beverly Eastridge from South Daytona, daughter Wanda Dence from Lakeland, daughter Vicki Adams and husband Bill Adams from Lakeland; grandchildren Eddie Eastridge, David Eastridge, Clark Fisher, Kim Fisher, Denise Rogers, Angela Adams; along with many great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Cecil and Cora Ballard; twin brother, Ernest Ballard, husband Leslie Franklin Eastridge Jr., second husband Ralph Hurst.

A graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, October 8th at 2:00pm, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home & Volusia Memorial Park. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Virginia's life. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Port Orange Nursing and Rehab Center for their care and dedication.
