Shirley Anne Wren Graybeal, 80, daughter of William H. Wren and Gertrude N. Speaker; passed away quietly on October 25, 2016 after a short illness. She was born , December 8, 1935 in the Town of Stanford, Dutchess County, New York. She is survived by her devoted husband Jerry D. Graybeal, her daughter Joan Graybeal-Bellamy, her son Keith D. Graybeal, her granddaughter Tiffany Pontius, her sister Jessie Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.
Shirley drove a school bus for Volusia County for over 32 years, and loved macramé, cooking her famous fried chicken, pizza, and cheese cake; but was most well known for her deep red hair and friendly demeanor. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday, October 31st, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd. on Ormond Beach. A funeral service will be held at the same location starting at 12 noon sharp. Interment will take place at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Ormond Beach.
