Raymond Phillip McCauley, 62, passed away July 1 surrounded by family. He was raised in Holly Hill and was a 1969 graduate of Mainland High School. Being disabled in a motorcycle accident in 1974 didn't deter his love of NASCAR, fishing, and the outdoors. Phillip is preceded in death by his father, Raymond, and two brothers, Jimmy and Rudy. He is survived by his mother, Stella of Holly Hill; brothers, Larry of AZ and Bud of Holly Hill; and a sister, Sharon Medders of Orange City; and many extended family and friends. Family will receive guests Thursday, July 5, 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach. A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 6 at 11:00 am at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach with Rev. Mark Malcolm officiating.
