Edward J. Ruppert Jr., of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania died Sunday, April 7th, 2019 surrounded by his sister Clarann, his Brother-in-law, Steve and his Sister-in-law Charlene Ruppert. He was 75.
He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline E. nee Godlewski Ruppert. Born in Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on September 29th, 1943, he was the son of the late Edward J. Ruppert Sr., and Clara L. nee Knapp Ruppert. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph H. Ruppert in May of 2012.
Ed graduated from Palisades High School in 1961, successfully completed Heavy Equipment Training in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was drafted and served in the United States Army in Germany. He also ran Seven Seasons Cleaning Business, also in Pennsylvania. He and his beloved wife Pauline moved to Port Orange, Florida in 1995.
Ed is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Clarann and Stephen A. Filko of Hellertown, Pennsylvania, his sister-in-law Charlene Ruppert of Venice, Florida, his brother and sister-in-law Tom and Irene Godlewski of Ormond Beach, Florida, his nieces Stephanie Brozoski and Danielle Ruppert, nephews Douglas Ruppert and Frank Godlewski, as well as great niece Sydney and nephews Zachary and Owen Brozoski.
Ed will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and neighbor. His devotion to the love of his life, Pauline, was never ending. He always had a smile and a kind word for those around him. He and Pauline loved to travel and adored all their pups.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on May 18th, 2019 at Grace Episcopal Church, 4110 S. Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange, Florida 32127. Gathering at 10:00AM, followed by the service at 11:00AM.
Luncheon at noon at the church, followed by interment of ashes in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, Florida. There will also be a Memorial Service held on June 1st, 2019 at noon at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18018, reception to follow.
