Nappy Memories of Fun Food and fellowship with Betty an Russell at their home in Eastbourne Sussex
First met them in Nottingham ( With Johnathan  /) some 54  years ago at the preparations for the Eric Hutchings Crusade in Nottingham ,   Enjoyed stayed at their home in Eastbourne , where I eventually met nay wife  to be ( now married 53 years  this month.)
Betty and Russ  could ne hilarious and we had may laughs, and also memorable chats about The Lord...... Happy times ;-) 
I remember Johnathan's love of cars ( in in Nottingham) at around the age of 4 (?)  
I have tapes of Betty singing with John Grant, Russ on the  organ ( usually a Hammond) () and Geoff Percival on  piano,   Played many of Bettys songs on radio, always a clear , listenable presentation.
I am sure there are thousands of people across the world who can say " Thank God for  Betty Lou ( and Russell )
Would love to hear from  the family when time allows,

We were so sorry to learn of Betty Lou’s passing. As younger members of the UWM team who were also from CT in Dayton, Russell and Betty Lou were very special to us as we traveled on Crusades with Russell, enjoyed Betty Lou’s (and Russell’s!!) incredible musical talents, and had them in our Union Mills home. We have many fond memories of them both! Praying God’s strength, comfort, and peace for the family.... SO thankful for the hope we have in Christ and the knowledge that we will see Him and  can look forward to being reunited with our loved ones again. 

My sincerest heartfelt condolences to Betty Lou's family and friends. I met her through my parents--when she and husband Russell were missionaries. I stayed with them for several months abroad in home in England. I remember trying to start a coal fire--not easy. Two of her sons stayed at my family home, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was a lovely lady, with a beautiful singing voice, who loved the Lord. Now, she's part of God's choir in heaven. We shall meet again.
