She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Henry Mitchell and her parents Daniel and Mary (McHugh) Jones. She leaves behind her son Michael of Shrewsbury, Laurie of Worcester and her children Patrick and Brian Nelson, sisters Patricia Beauvais, Ann Rys and her husband Ron, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Proud of her Irish heritage, she enjoyed dining at the Sons of Erin, tracing her roots, reading, and spending time near the ocean with family. She was recently looking forward to attending her 60th high school reunion and reminiscing with all of her lifelong friends.
Her family would like to extend a special thank you to her friend and nurse, Laurie Whitcomb, all of the staff at CentralWell Home Health, along with the caring nurses & doctors at Cape Cod hospital and friends that were by her side through thick and thin.
