Joan M. Keegan

Joan was born in Bridgeport, CT to Joseph and Claire Monturi on May 28, 1933. She married Dr. James T. Keegan on November 19, 1955 after graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years, with her husband in his surgical practice and as a healthcare educator at Platt Tech both in Milford, CT.

Joan was very involved in civic and volunteer organizations in Milford, CT and once she relocated in 2004 to her beloved Cape Cod home in Brewster, MA, she enjoyed her friends in her book and Mahjong groups and devoted much time to the community and its best interests by serving on the Board of Managers and various committees at Sears Point Condominium Association.

Joan M. Keegan is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Claire Monturi and her husband, James T. Keegan M.D. Joan is survived by JoAnn and Robert Czarny of New Vernon, NJ, David and Rita Keegan of Langhorne, PA, John and Elizabeth Keegan of Vienna, VA and seven grand children.
