Virginia J Haskins

Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Haskins, age 90 will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 15, 2011 in the Chapel of Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home at 2811 Curry Ford Rd. Orlando, Florida. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ragan Vandegriff will officiate.

Mrs. Haskins was born on January 27, 1921 in Lancaster, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Pearl and Grace Conrad Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Stanley Haskins, Sr. and by her son, James Stanley Haskins, Jr. She was a retired school teacher. Mrs. Haskins passed away on Friday, July 8, 2011.

Mrs. Haskins is survived by her son, David Haskins and wife, Donna, of Orlando, FL, her daughter, Carolyn Haskins Whatley and husband, Gene Whatley, of Wrightsville, GA, 4 grandchildren, Jonathan Haskins, David Haskins, Jr., Christine and husband, Danny O'Rourke, and Capt. Stanley Frederick, Jr., and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M. Thursday evening at Carey Hand Colonial Funeral Home in Orlando.
