Shirley Hope

She was born on September 6, 1942 to Robert and Verda (Loftice) Daniels in Monarch, VA.

Shirley is survived by her children: Mark (Mary), Pamela (Todd), Michael (Alison); three grandsons (Andrew, Christopher and Nicholas); sisters Roberta and Patsy.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, her parents and sisters Lois and Johnnie.

Shirley worked as a secretary for National Airlines. After she married and started a family, she became a homemaker and was active in volunteering in her children’s schools as well as their other extracurricular activities. Once her children were in high school, Shirley returned to work as a Plant Care Specialist for Brown’s Interior Foliage.

Shirley loved spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed hosting get-togethers, bowling, playing cards, attending her grandsons’ sporting events and caring for her numerous plants and flowers.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 22, 2022 at Baldwin Fairchild Chapel Hill located at 2420 Harrell Road in Orlando with a reception immediately following the service.
