Dad graduated from Oak Ridge HS, here in Orlando, in 1967. He then joined the USAF and worked for the NSA. While stationed in England he met my mom at a USO dance, and well, they just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
After getting out he joined the Orange County Sheriff's Office, and became a Corporal. He worked in many areas, Patrol/Sect 4, I-Drive, ERT, Undercover, White Collar, and Civil. He was also in countless groups and boards. FOP Lodge 93, Drum Major of the OCSO Pipe and Drums, Local/State/National Police Memorial, Local Politics, and many others. He was made a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky for his accomplishments and outstanding service to the community, state, and nation, and his devotion to faith and family.
Hobbies were Fishing, Reading, History - especially Civil War & British History - traveling, and going on cruises. He also enjoyed going to Theme Parks, especially "Papa's Ride."
He is survived by Janice, Rebecca, Grandchildren Fallon & Connor, and Siblings Barbara, Mike and Pat.
