Peter Maurice Cruz

Peter Maurice Cruz, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Orlando Regional Memorial Hospital, at the age of 94, after a valiant fight with a massive heart attack. Peter was born August 8, 1927 in Nuevitas, Camagüey, Cuba.

Peter (Pete) emigrated to Orlando, Florida in the United States at the Age of 19 and went on to attend Machinist School. He was drafted into the Korean War. After Korea, he became a Master Automotive Machinist and worked for Auto Machine & Parts for 43 years.

Pete is the last of 11 Brothers & Sisters born to his Parents, Pedro & Estella Cruz and in an

extremely large family of Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren & Friends.

He is proceeded in Passing, by His Wife, Mary & Youngest Son, Eric. He is survived by his Sons, Peter and Philip, 4 Grandchildren-Stephen, Kaitlyn, Shelby & Peter, as well as many Friends.

He was a Beautiful Man, Husband, Father, GrandFather & Friend and will be sorely, sorely missed by All. Pete, you have our Love & Respect forever more.

A visitation for Peter will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 1413 S SEMORAN BLVD, ORLANDO, FL 32807. A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 1413 S SEMORAN BLVD, ORLANDO, FL 32807. A committal service will occur Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 TEMPLE DR, WINTER PARK, FL 32789.
