Jason Devon Pufahl was born on the 2nd day of August 1949. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana and spent his youth in Indiana and in Fort Myers, Florida. Jason enlisted in the United States Army in January of 1971; serving as a computer specialist and clerk. After his military service, Jason began working for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in Virginia compiling over 25 years of service. In 1982, he married his wife, Charlene Higgs. Together, they lived in Arlington, Virginia until moving to Orlando, Florida in 1995 raising their granddaughter, Krystal. Jason loved spending time with family and would travel great distances to be with them. Jason was an avid billiard player and loved playing pool with his friends. Jason always had a smile to share and a sense of humor that was contagious.
Jason was predeceased by his wife, Charlene Higgs Pufahl; his parents Harold and Vera Pufahl; brothers Kendall, Larry, Dennis, Michael and George Pufahl; and sister Sandra Stinson; and two nieces.
Jason is survived by his granddaughter Krystal Rabago-Wright; brothers Daine Irvin Pufahl and Timmy Joe Pufahl; and sisters Charlotte Joan Armstrong, Eleanor Rose Tapp, and Jerilyn Jeanette Boone, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill in Orlando, Florida and burial services at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
