Isabel Richez, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, just three days shy of her 96th birthday. Born on November 15, 1928, in the Dominican Republic, moving to Brooklyn, living in Queens, NY, and ultimately residing in Orlando, Florida, since the late 1980s. Isabel was a force, a trailblazer who embodied strength, resilience, and unconditional love for her family.
She is survived by her devoted sister, Alba (husband Macho, and her cherished children, Ivelisse (husband Miguel), Domingo, and Ana. Isabel's siblings predeceased her: Arelys, Pedro “Che Che”, Guareonex, and Laura “Tata”.
Her greatest pride and joy was her family: dozens of nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, with another due to arrive in the coming weeks all of who adored her.
She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, and the enduring bond of family. She will be deeply missed and forever celebrated. Bendición Abuela.
