Hugh "Chip" E Dowling, III passed peacefully on Thursday, December 5th after a year-long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia, brother Bradley, and sister Debbie. He is survived by his wife Teresa, father Hugh "Ed" E Dowling, II, nieces Holly Herman and Lindsey Redick, nephews Scott & Garrett McCullouh, and great nephews Dylan and Dayton Herman. Hugh's name is well known in the bus industry in Orlando and across the country. He has a passion for American muscle cars and hot rods. He loved his family dearly and his humor and wise cracks will be missed by all.
There will be a graveside service held at Baldwin Fairchild at Chapel Hill on Monday, December 9th for family only. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering on Monday, December 9th for friends and family at their home between 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Since Hugh was not a "dressy" kind of guy, wear casual attire please!
