Hendu, as he was known to many in the area, was born August 19, 1951, to Agnes and Henry Williams Jr. and attended Peabody High School graduated in 1969. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Henry Williams Jr. He is survived by sibling, Henry Williams III, (Linda Jean), his sons Timothy Williams and Reggie Williams as well as two granddaughters.
Henderson was known for his kind spirit and had a way of touching others, always willing to help. Henderson donated faithfully to multiple charities and organizations, such as St Jude, TD Jakes Ministries and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Henderson started at Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio working in graphic illustration before relocating to Travis AFB cross training into Avionics simulation, and later Vandenburg AFB.
After his years in the service, Henderson moved to Ft Wayne Indiana, working as a technical Writer for Magnavox.
Henderson later relocated to Orlando Fl for an opportunity at Martin Marietta, now Lockheed Martin, working for 37 years, highly respected, for his skill, attention to detail and tactfulness by his peers as a senior technical writer.
His family has organized a service to honor Henderson's life and military service, which will be held at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on June 27, 2024, at 1:30 pm.
