Born on December 13, 1934, Harlem, NY, George was the 4th of 9 children, born to Hui Shee and Charles Kee, Sr. George's family moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he met and married Theresa Wong on July 2nd, 1962. The loving couple had three girls and one boy: Jacqueline, Michele, Lisa, and George, Jr., aka, Tun!
In 1972, George moved from New York to Pennsylvania, to raise his children. There he became a business owner and operator of two restaurants. Many of his nephews and nieces thought of their “Uncle George” as their second father and his home as their own. As many fathers would, he put them to work! In between teaching them how to flip burgers and make ice cream sundaes, he also taught them how to play ping pong, pool, cards, etc. But most importantly, he taught them “The Golden Rule”!
After getting tired of shoveling snow for about 10 years, George made his final move to Orlando, FL, where he once again owned and operated another restaurant, Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant.
After many years of long, hard restaurant hours, he was finally able to spend his retirement years with his family cruising, gambling, and cooking!
In his last few months, George spent most days on his iPad reading the news and playing his Woody block game. He also found his new passion and hobby, jigsaw puzzles, which he worked on for hours and hours!!!
George is survived by his beloved wife, Terry, his four children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and another on the way! He is also survived by his loving sisters, Elsie, Mabel, Mary and brother, Harry.
George has left his loving family as his legacy while he lives his eternal life in heaven and can finally rest.
Funeral services will be held at Baldwin-Fairchild 1413 S. Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807 on Saturday February 11th, 2023, from 11:00-2:00 pm
