my cousin Gabriel Ortiz always made me happy he played every game I own and he was the best cousin I had and when I heard of his passing I cried all night it's not the same anymore but he's  up there with god

But God needs you on heaven and now we know you are happy but is hard understand we will not see your beautiful smile again . Now you are a beautiful angel taking care of your love ones. I am sorry for your loss. I did not know Gabriel but we took tutoring together and he always said funny stuff making everyone around him laugh. I am very sad to have lost the opportunity to get to know him. We have another Angel in heaven.

My name is Christina. I didn’t know Gabe or the family personally, but my son Xavier and Gabe were friends since 3rd grade. He remembers playing basketball with him and how they were supposed to try out for the Arbor Ridge basketball team together on January 6th. He also remembers Gabe’s mother coming into the lunchroom to joke around with Gabe and the boys. 

Gabe was a bright light that was extinguished far too soon, but he will shine on in Xavier’s mind and heart for a lifetime and I’m sure it will be the same for everyone that knew him. Xavier plans to reserve Gabe’s seat in the lunchroom, and tryout for the basketball team Thursday for them both. He also invites Gabe’s mom to come during lunch whenever she wants to talk about Gabe and joke around anytime. Our hearts are with you during this time. May peace, strength and comfort be with Gabe’s family and loved ones always.
