Donna Ann Harris

Donna was born on January 26, 1938 to Barney and Anna Margaret Pierce in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

In 1958 she married the love of her life, Minas Harris. Donna and Minas went on to have two children, Scot and Kelly. Donna enjoyed being an Air Force wife and living in a variety of interesting places including Alaska, Hawaii and Japan.

When Minas retired from the Air Force in 1976 the family moved to Orlando, Florida.

Donna enjoyed keeping house, tending her garden, cooking, spending time with her much loved dog Milo, playing word games on her iPad, and watching TV and movies. She was happiest when she had her family and extended family with her. Nothing made her happier than having everyone in the same room together.

Donna was predeceased by her mother and father, her husband Minas, and her brothers Barney and Billy. She is survived by her son Scot, his wife Cheryl and her grandson Daniel, her daughter Kelly Lacy and her husband Sean, her sister Carolyn and her husband Bill, her sister Pam and her husband Billy, her sisters-in-law Carolyn Ann and Ila, and her many nieces and nephews and their families. She is also survived by many very good friends who are truly family, some of whom even call her Grammy Donna.

Donna was a bright light that will not be forgotten. Her passing was sudden and unexpected, but her memory and her legacy will live on with all of us who loved her dearly.

A graveside service for Donna will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at 9823 - Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789.
