Bishop George R. Mackey, age 90, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on February 12, 2022. He was born in Behring Point, Bahamas on Saturday, January 30, 1932.
George graduated from North Park College with his BA/Masters degree and graduated from Seabury Theological Seminary with a degree in Theology. He was married to Gloria on April 25, 1964.
George worked as an Engineer for Bishop Freeman. He was a member of Anglican/Orthodox Christian Societies and had a passion for fishing and ministry.
He is survived by his wife Gloria, by his sons David (Kathy), George II ( Paulette) and by his grandchildren Celia, Cameron, Sierra and Jessica.
He is also survived by his siblings Patsy Neymour, Magnola Neymour, and Raymond Mackey.
