Robert Allen Sauter

Robert Allen Sauter of Frankfort Illinois, age 95, passed away on November 12, 2024. He was born in Chicago Illinois on July 21, 1929. Robert graduated from Chicago Techinal College and received a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Beloved husband of Arlene (Ogarek); Loving Father of Timothy (preceded in death); and Thomas (Laura); Cherished grandfather of Brittany (Nicholas) Quinn; Thomas M. (Sarah Pollard); and Adam (Jen); Great Grandfather (GG) of Autumn Quinn; Rowan and Brynn Sauter; Dear brother of Lucyle Black; Gladys South; and Alfred (all preceded in death) and Fond Uncle of many. Robert was a member of the Freemasons, Lawn Lodge #815; The Scottish Rite and the Medina Shriners. He had a passion for collecting sports memorabilia; Clock making; woodworking of all kinds and spending time with his family. His laughter and kidding around will be missed by all.

A funeral visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 9:30am-11:30am at Orland Funeral Home, 9900 W 143rd St, Orland Park, IL 60462. Following with a funeral service at 11:30am. Interment will conclude at Queen of Heaven cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Shriners Children's Hospital 2211 N. Oak Park Ave Chicago would be appreciated.
