He was born on June 4, 1937, in Buffalo, NY, to Ralph Alphonse Cocciolo and Helen Teresa (né Pyse) Cocciolo.
Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. His 20 years of service included an unaccompanied tour of Japan, and two tours in Viet Nam. After retiring from the Marine Corp in 1976, he relocated his family from Millington, TN, to Orange Park, FL, where he continued his service to the country through the Department of Defense as a civil service employee. He was a talented gardener, a great chef, a skilled craftsman and a music enthusiast. He passed on his skills in the kitchen to his children and grandchildren and was loved to talk about the next planting season. He will be missed in his community and long mourned by his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his sister, Beverly A. Cocciolo, of Buffalo, NY.
Survivors include his children, Ralph A. Cocciolo (Barbara), Debra A. Forehand, Mark D. Cocciolo (Stephanie) and Lorie A. Cocciolo, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 9th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Chapel, with Father Jaison Xaviour officiating.
