Matthew F Walker

Matthew F. Walker, of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on October 3, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana August 19, 1943 to the late Ted T. and Anesia Rabalais Walker.  He attended Ogden High School in Franklin Parish.  He was a long distance truck driver for many years.  In addition to his parents, Matt was predeceased by his two brothers, Ted and Donald Walker.  He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his children Matt, Michelle, and Natalie and by his three grandchildren Gabe, Devyn and Chloe.  Also surviving him is his sister Peggy Gassie, brothers Robert and Dr. David P. Walker and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  We will all miss his fun loving humor and his gift of music.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead, 127 Blanding Blvd. with Rev.
