Edgar "Richard" Roof, Jr., age 77, of Orange Park, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

Richard was born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 4,1946 to Maggie Ella (McCormick) and Edgar Richard Roof, Sr.

Survived by his wife Deloris Bishop; Son, Rich (Crystal) Roof and Daughter, Stacy (Glen) Clark.

Sister, Anne Barger. Grandchildren: Zachary Clark, Natalie Clark, Hannah Roof, Ethan Roof, Caleb Roof and Abigail Roof.

A memorial service for Richard will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Oakleaf Baptist Church, 800 Oakleaf Plantation Parkway, Orange Park, Florida 32065.

Committal services will be announced at a later time at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
