Billie Jane Henderson

BJ grew up in Texas, spent her career working for Lubbock Independent School District, and then got to spend time on her hobbies and with family and friends. She fulfilled her dream of having her place on the lake at Lake Limestone, Texas where she became a Master Gardener and volunteered with Lake Limestone Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, feeding her birds and squirrels and was very talented in different forms of art. BJ enjoyed hosting friends and family for games of Farkle or shooting pool. In 2022, she left the lake to move to Florida to be closer to her son.

BJ is survived by her son, Lee Henderson (Sherri), her grandchildren, Trey Henderson, Cameron Henderson and Marla Henderson, as well as her niece and two nephews and their children.
