He was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 12, 1948 to the late Richard J. and Ruth (Grubb) Kaiser.
By trade, Richard worked as an electrician with Home Depot for 25 years; and, everyone who knew him knew he was much more than that…he was a true craftsman, and “he could fix anything”. They never threw anything away without running it through Richard’s capable hands first. You might also easily find him camping, hunting, collecting guns, or cheering on his Ohio State Buckeyes!
Richard met his beloved wife, Tina, when they worked together at Publix, and after he agreed that she was right about everything, they shared a wonderful 42 years of marriage together. Their independent spirits and senses of humor helped them through anything. She even let him go skydiving at the age of 70, and he fell in love with it!
He is truly missed.
Richard was preceded in death by his dear parents Richard J. and Ruth Kaiser.
He is survived by his loving wife Tina Kaiser, daughter Kristie Seitz (Joe Seitz) of Casselberry, son Mark Kaiser of Winter Park, son Scott Kaiser (Christian Kaiser) of Orlando, daughter Jennifer Kaiser of Vancouver Washington, brother Mike Kaiser (Terry Kaiser) of The Villages, and four granddaughters.
A gathering to Celebrate Richard’s Life will be planned in the near future.
In lieu of flowers, the Kaiser Family invites you to make a donation in Richard’s name to Advent Hospice of Volusia County.
Condolences may be offered in the online guestbook below.
