Maria Josefa Vega

Maria married Frank Vega in October 1962, sharing many joyful years together until his passing. A devoted homemaker and Avon Consultant, she dedicated her life to her family and community. Maria was a devout Catholic, finding strength and solace in her faith, which guided her throughout her life.

Her passions included immersing herself in the Bible, crocheting beautiful creations, and enjoying classic movies and music. Maria's love for these activities reflected her vibrant spirit and creativity.

She is survived by her loving children: Agnes and Rosemary Underwood, Frankie and Carrie Vega, and Eliezel and Maria Vega. Maria was a cherished grandmother to William Bonilla, Jeremy Bonilla, Matthew Bonilla, Daniel Bonilla, Chase Vega, Arianna Vega, Diego Vega, Eric Rademaker, Frankie Vega, Mariadan Gonzalez, Maricarmen Gonzalez, and Isbella Gonzalez. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Kiera Mynx Legget, Elias Bonilla, Liam Bonilla, and Gio Rios.

Maria Josefa Vega will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her commitment to her faith, and her joyful spirit. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
