Mr. Kenneth R. Kamp, age 79, of De Leon Springs, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024. He was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin on September 15, 1944, and was a cherished member of his community.
Kenneth was a man of many talents and passions. After graduating from Pewaukee High School, he followed his love for motorcycles and spent several years working for Harley Davidson as a test rider. He then moved on to work for Amateur Electronics in Orlando before joining Lesco Distributors as a dedicated CB & Car Stereo salesman until his retirement at the age of 62.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kevin Kenneth (Maureen) Kamp, his granddaughter, Chelsie Marie Kamp, and his great-grandchildren, Michael, Kenneth, Thomas, and Allison. He is also survived by his brother, William A. Kamp, and nephews, William Martin (Mark) Kamp and Russel Carl Kamp. Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandson, Jonathan William Kamp.
A devoted member of the Master Masons and the Scottish Rite, Kenneth was also a proud member of the Ancient Arabic Order of Shriners. He had a deep love for motorcycles and NASCAR, as well as for boating and fishing. Kenneth enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as a little rum and beer, family gatherings, BBQs, and grilling out by the pool with his son and loved ones.
Kenneth will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he shared with his family and friends.
A memorial service for Kenneth will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763, followed by a visitation from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
