I was so fortunate to know Judy.  We shared being grandmothers to our granddaughter Morgan.  Unlike some relationships that can be tense, Judy and I never felt that tension. Our families celebrated holidays and birthdays and fun events together. July's death was a loss to all of us 

It's hard to know what to say when you have known someone your entire life.   Aunt Judi is woven into the fabric of so many memories.   The South Lyon house where she tied a string to the doorknob to get my loose tooth out.  The farmhouse where everyone visited our funny "haunted house" in the barn.  Sitting around the white kitchen table with her and Grammie, drinking coffee and telling stories and laughing.  Staying with her in Florida and feeding the "pet" squirrel.  So many small things over all these years....  My last favorite memory with her is on a back porch in Tennessee.. singing  songs  with Kathleen on the guitar.   I know she had a great time that evening too.
She took care of my father in his final days, which I will forever be beyond grateful for.  
Always the voice of reason.  And always, always compassionate and kind.
She will be missed so greatly, by so many people whose lives she has touched.  Including mine.

Your Loving Sister

Judi was a beautiful woman who influenced and inspired many.  I will miss her sweet hugs.

We are sure sad to know that such a fine human being has left this earth.  Judi was a joy to know and a joy to work along side.  I don't ever remember her being angry. She was a kind and wonderful person.

Blending our families through the marriage of our children, I came to know Judi as an especially kind and loving woman.  We shared  Thanksgiving dinners, Easter brunches with the grands and the egg hunt,  Mothers Day breakfast at 4Bees, the ornament exchanges at the Wicked Sisters,   bonfires on the beach parties and always the over the top birthday celebrations for my aging mother. 

We  watched our beautiful granddaughter grow  together; attended school recitals and programs and  summer plays at the Gateway; she cheered M on as she ran the length of a soccer field; whether it was a Friday night or a Saturday morning Judi was there until she just couldn't be.   

Quiet, thoughtful and loving, Judi was always there for her husband Paul, her daughters and her grandchildren and my son, her son in law.   Our family loved her and we will miss her and that beautiful  smile at our next family event.  

Your sudden passing has touched our lives and hearts dear friend and former co-worker and they way you have inspired me touched me even more.   Death brings pain that time can only heal, no words could ease what we truly feel; but with God, your joy is eternally sealed and cherished memories that death can’t even steal.  Lift up a smile for Judy as she is already in the paradise.
