Joseph Alvarez, 86, passed away October 2, 2016 in Deltona, Florida. He was born July 29, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to Julian Alvarez and Helen Cora Alvarez.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Selenia Alvarez; his children Diana Elena Alvarez, Joseph Alvarez, Jr., Margarita Crespo and Yvonne Alvarado; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 10:45AM at Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona, Florida 32725. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
