Edward "Ted" J. Iliffe

Mr. Iliffe was born on September 9, 1934 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of Edward B. and Ruth Mutch Iliffe. He graduated from Nutley High School in Nutley, NJ and attended Wake Forest College. He was drafted into the armed forces in 1956 and attached to the 82nd Airborne Division. His entire business career was in textile sales, earning Salesman of the Year many times and eventually becoming a self-employed manufacturer's representative. He married Virginia Scholes on May 14, 1955, having known each other since fourth grade. During their married life, they lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida. He enjoyed golf and started playing at a young age, winning many prizes until he had to quit due to a shoulder injury.

He is survived by his wife, Ginny; a son, Andrew (Tamara) Iliffe of Winter Park, FL; a daughter, Patricia (Richard) Morehouse of Lake Mary, FL; a grandson, Andrew Iliffe of Winter Park, FL; a brother, Stuart (Nancy) Iliffe of Coral Gables, FL and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland on December 12, 2011 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow the service in the Memorial Garden of the church.

A celebration of his life will be shared with family and friends at their home in DeBary.
