Charlene had small beginning being born at just 2 lbs. 15 oz. She grew up to have a heart of gold though, that far outweighed her size and circumstance in life.
She faithfully served her God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ as one of Jehovah's Witnesses for almost 40 years. She loved the little things in life, singing, playing the piano, crocheting, cooking and baking and preaching to others about God's kingdom. Helping and teaching others brought her great joy.
She was a devoted daughter, sharing a mother daughter bond that was so close some would even say you would not see one without the other. A devoted mother she was always hoping and wanting the best for her children, always trying to make sure they were safe and cared for. She was a nurturer by nature devoting countless hours, physical and emotional energy thinking about and providing for the welfare of all around her.
Charlenes' faith in Gods promises at Revelations 21:3,4; John 5:28,29; and Isaiah 41:10; and regularly visiting the website jw.org for helpful information brought her great comfort and joy! While Charlene will be missed she will be thought of fondly, and we await that beautiful day when she wakes up fresh and new with all the energy, vitality, and longevity of life to live out all her hearts desires in a righteous new world-paradise on earth.
She will be met with the joy of caring for her son Christopher Marcus Anderson & her sweet daughter Buena Anderson (“Tootie”) who both preceded her in death. We joyously await that day!
She is survived by her mother Cynthia Britt, stepfather Willie Britt, father Edward Latimer; daughter Tamara Stevenson and son-in-law Tavlos Stevenson; brothers Gary Latimer (his wife and daughter), Kevin Britt (his wife and children); sisters Deborah Ien (her husband), Theresa Latimer(and her son) and Charlene Latimer; stepsister Donna Swann (her husband); Willistine Britt and many more relatives, cousins aunts and uncles including John Bowen(and family); Sharon and Julian Aponte (their family) and friends.
The family would like to thank all who did so much for Charlene during her final days. Your kindness will never be forgotten! 2 Corinthians 1:3-7
