Marilyn S. Twitchell

She was a long-time member of the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church. Marilyn was an avid golfer and, for many years, she was Assistant Director in Hal McCuen’s Children’s Theater. She served for over 15 years on the board of the Mansfield Playhouse and was a performer in several productions.

She is survived by her two children, Marc Twitchell and Sheryl Twitchell Schultz. She was a loving grandmother to Luke and Olivia Twitchell and Evan, Drew, and Blake Schultz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Twitchell; father and mother, Henry and Susanna (Mutsch) Long; and siblings, Carmen Kick, Judith Schneider, and Michael Long.

Friends and family may visit from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mansfield Memorial Park.
