I first met you 9 1/2 yrs ago  shortly after your Uncle Louis Ledbetter and I married. It was  at a Martial Arts Demonstration Presentation of award to Mario Jones. That your Uncle Louis and several other Masters demonstrated their styles and forms. Your Aunt Debbie Ledbetter Hardeman & I were standing towards the back of the auditorium, you came up hugged Debbie them turned to me and gave me a big hug and said Hi Auntie Rhonda, I am your nephew Lil Vic. I felt an instant connection to you and a sense of what a warm , loving person you are.  We text and communicated since then. We share a love and interest of dogs. You gave me alot of valuable information about dogs. On my birthday in September 2022 , Louis had gone to visit you, you knew that in January 2022 I had lost my beloved Chow Chow I had and raised for 17 yrs. And you sent home to me one of your Smash Mouth Bullies a male of 6 mos. old.  I told you we named him Led Bleux, and what a character he is. Sent you several videos of just what an energetic force he is. We laughed and compared stories. I feel a hurt in my heart that you are gone , far too young. And a love for you that always will be there. But we have a part of you living with us everyday in the pup. God Bless You , you are in Heaven and now have peace forever. Cousin Gladys my family and I want to send our condolences to you and the rest of the family our family are very big and. Love to meet  them  I didn’t know cousin victor  in person but I spoke once to  him via messenger he was very kind explain to me the Type of dog breeding he does and since then we’re always greeted each other via Facebook very funny  his girlfriend very nice couple !! I have always asking Lorena how he was doing? And always reply to me but on 12/21/22 I’ve sent a  merry Christmas to him and the family and didn’t get no reply I’ve sense something was wrong that’s when cousin Natasha posted something about his passing   I will cherish the moment we have from Facebook cousin victor continue to rest in peace and watch over us until we meet again Angel 👼🏾 👼🏾👼🏾👼🏾

I never had brothers growing up until God placed Victor & Carnot Ledbetter in my life and the rest is history! They are two of the best things that ever happened in my life! Victor taught me patience & wisdom, while Carnot taught me strength & courage, both instilling a strong sense of confidence in myself and my abilities. The contributions they gave to me I always tried to give back because I was so grateful to have them in my life. Throughout the years we've grown apart through distance but the love and the bonds we forged while young aren't things that erode over time. Today as I wake, there's no Victor to turn to, there's no wisdom to be found,  there is no solace to be had. For the first time in a long time I feel weak, I feel pain, and I feel alone, he is no longer with us and I can only imagine what Marie and the entire Ledbetter Family and his Children must be going through. I know we must be strong and I will get it together because he taught me better and I will Honor him as such, just not today! Today I will shed many tears and feel pain, yesterday I shed many years and felt pain, and tomorrow I will shed many tears and feel pain...  Although it's not God's fault it's his plan... I will still be mad at him for taking Victor because Victor didn't want to go just yet. If there is something I can leave with Junior and the rest of the kids, your Father was the best man I've known and so long has you fall back on his teachings you will weather this storm. If you need anything reach out! Your Father loves you so from me you get the same. Be strong and look ahead but never forget how you got there! I will always love, miss and remember you Dink!

As I type this with tears in my eye...I can't believe your not here. I'm I'm comfort knowing you areno longer suffering, but you never told us how to live on without you. I was blessed to know Victor since Locust Elementary School. Victor, and his brother (Carnal) and I started out as rivals. We would get into it all the time.  Whether it was over basketball, football. But as time went on we formed a friendship. I appreciate you being there for my sister in her time of struggle.  Victor your love for your family is unmatched. Also you are the only person I know that has a love for those pits the way you do. Brother you will be missed. My prayers are with your family. Your Legacy will live on through your children and those lives you touch with your support. Rest easy my boy.

I was blessed to have been very best friends with Victor for over 30 years. Anyone who knew what his fierce love felt like, knows that losing him is something we will never get over. My heart goes out to his beautiful mother, siblings and children whose lives will never again feel complete without him. Victor was taken from us too soon. I’m so angry that I won’t ever see his mischievous smile, or feel his arms wrapped around me in a bear hug again. But I’m so grateful for the time I had with him and I know we’ll be together again one day. Rest in peace my precious, beautiful friend.

I am so  sorry that Victor left us all at such an early age. But his sufferings have ended and he is now resting in Peace in the house of the Lord . My deepest sympathy to the entire Family and  my heart goes out to my Cuz his Mom Gladys . The pain is heavy and I am praying for you all for Strength, courage to accept what we can not control.
