Hi there, I am hoping to get in touch with a couple members of Margie Roman's family. I am a reporter with The Imprint (https://imprintnews.org), an online newsite that covers the child welfare system. I am working on a story that honors social workers and DCFS employees who passed away during the pandemic. I wanted to provide personal look at Ms. Roman and learn what working on behalf on vulnerable children and families in L.A. County for many years meant to her. I had the pleasure of working with Margie at DCFS. She always maintained a level of professionalism and was held in high regard by all who knew her. At the same time she was a tuff independent individual who would let nothing stand in her way. I so admired her drive, motivation and love for life. Her laugh was so contagious. When she smiled I would say Margie where did you get your beautiful skin from, she told me her mom taught her how to take care of her skin at a very early age. We shared stories, receipes  and everyday advice. Prior to my retiring we frequently spoke of her retiring. I will miss her and remember her fondly. Please accept my condolences. God bless you all during this difficult time.
