“In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Doyle Carmon Sr. Jeff Carmon, born on September 16th, 1958, left this world on September 21st, 2023, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was a cherished husband to Robin, devoted father to Melissa, Jeff, and Amanda, and a doting grandfather to his eight grandchildren.
Jeffrey, known to many as a son of Dorothy and Gene, a sibling to Sue, Steve, and Nancy, was not just a family man but also a beloved uncle, cousin, and best friend to countless others.
His life was marked by diverse passions, talents and hard work. Jeffrey dedicated his career to public service, retiring as a respected corrections officer. Whether he was on the golf course, casting a line into the water, or sharing his love for music, he found joy in life's simple pleasures.
Music was a cornerstone of Jeff’s life. He was a gifted bass guitarist and shared his love for music with those fortunate enough to hear him play. His heart also found joy in the melodic tunes of the Eagles and the soulful sounds of Barry Manilow. It was on the stage with his bass guitar in hand that he truly shined. His bandmates, friends, and fans marveled at his ability to infuse energy and life into every note he played.
As a devoted Dallas Cowboys football fan, he cheered for his team with enthusiasm, enjoying the highs and lows of each season.
Throughout his battle with cancer, Jeff displayed incredible strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew him with his determination to live life to the fullest. He faced each day with courage and a smile, never allowing his illness to define him.
Jeff’s unwavering faith in God was first in his life, providing him with comfort, strength, and hope throughout his journey. His Christian faith was a source of solace and inspiration to those around him.
One of Jeff’s most endearing qualities was his sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to find laughter in even the most challenging of circumstances, bringing light and joy to those around him. His witty remarks and silly jokes were a testament to his positive outlook on life.
In remembering Jeff, we honor a man whose life was rich with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the joys of life. He touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed. A memorial service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Friday October 6th at 10:30am at Bellevue Memorial Park 1240 West G. St. Ontario, CA 91762
