Janet RoeJean Files, 84, passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
Janet, affectionately known as ‘Jeannie’, was born on January 14, 1938, in Upland, California to Eunice Mildred Turnbow and Arthur Ross Cattle. Jeannie was raised as an only child by her two loving parents. She attended and graduated from Chaffey High School in 1956, where she met her husband, Maxwell ‘Mack’ Files (Deceased). Jeannie and Mack married on September 6, 1958. The couple had three children: Brenda, Brian, and Beverly. They were married for 41 years before Mack died in 1999.
Jeannie is survived by her three children: her eldest daughter, Brenda Culver (six children and five grandchildren); her son, Brian Files (four children and two grandchildren); and youngest daughter, Beverly Wiltsey (three children and two grandchildren).
