Denise Ann Benjestorf, born April 17, 1950 in San Pedro, CA, went home to the Lord on August 18, 2014 after a long battle with diabetes.
She graduated from Chaffey High School in 1969. She also graduated from Chaffey College with an Associates degree following high school.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rancho Cucamonga for the majority of her life.
Denise is survived by her sister, Paula (Benjestorf) Bailey, (husband Edgar Wayne), niece, Patricia (Bailey) Leever, (husband Jasen) and nephew, Wayne Bailey, (wife Heather). She is also survived by her four great-nephews, Kyle and Ryan Leever and Matthew and Michael Bailey. Two great-nieces, Emma and Erin Leever.
Visitations will be held at Draper Mortuary on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 9:00 am, followed by services at 10:00 am in the chapel. Interment will be at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
